“3D digital models of museum exhibits will be an important part of exhibition culture in the future. Digitization is one of the biggest challenges of my work. I’m still learning and improving my digital skills, for example in photogrammetry. This is a special digitalization technique where you take a lot of overlapping photos of the find in order to later develop a 3D model on the computer with the data. Luckily women in STEM are starting to have a voice and our research and positions are more valued nowadays. I truly think this step is of high importance for equality and scientific improvement.“
